Gen 5- Chapter 13 Part 2: Pineapple

“Honey can you come here for a quick second?”

I had been strolling by the living room, heading back to the play room when mom called me over to the couch. I nodded and approached Mom, Dad and Aunt Punchy. They all had big smiles on their faces, which meant most likely I wasn’t in trouble. Funny. Me in trouble, I never did anything to get in trouble, so I wasn’t exactly sure why I was so worried about that.

“Ya?”

“We need to start planning for your birthday, but you still haven’t told us what you want to do?”

This was true, even I didn’t know what I wanted to do, and anytime someone would ask, I just drew a huge blank. Staring at them with this totally confused look on my face.

“Love? You still with us?”

“Uh ya! I just don’t know…”

“You know, I got these great tickets for Sunny’s daughter and a few of her friends for a Jammy Bierberry concert, I bet I could pull a few strings and get a couple more. Its gonna be a really small setting at the new strawberry Creme Brulee in Briocheport. What do you think about that?”

My eyes glazed over again, but this time it was from excitement. I almost exploded right there on the spot.

“NO WAY!?! Jammy Bierberry!! NO way!!! and you can get ME in! NO WAY!!!”

Wah I was so excited!! This was going to be the best birthday ever!!

“I might even be able to get you a cake and get everyone to sing happy birthday, even Jammy.

Well it was official, I wasn’t going to live to see my birthday because I was about to melt into the floor like huge puddle.

The night of the party came and I was sitting in awe in my chair. No way this was actually happening I kept thinking to myself. Shamrock kept laughing at me and waving his hand in front of my eyes.

“Sugearth to Olivine, Olivine come in!”

“Funny Bro…real funny.”

Then it was time. The lights got even dimmer and then there he was!! Right on stage! I just couldn’t believe it!! Ahhhhh! I was literally bursting at the seams! Jammy Bierberry!!!!!!!!

I was enjoying every Bierberry second of it, but my brother didn’t seem to be as interested. I didn’t care though. I was screaming and girls were crying and it was an amazing experience that I hoped I would not soon forget!

“Jammy I love you!!!”

After the concert, just as Aunti Punchy had promised, they brought out a cake with candles a blaze all for me. My face was aching from smiling so much. I was having such a good time, I even forgot about all the strangers that were before me. This was like coolest birthday ever! Everyone including Jammy sang me happy birthday, I was the luckiest girl in the world.

I made my wish and blew out those candles. Eeeeeee!!

I had never in my life experienced a night quite like that one. The atmosphere was electric and everything felt so alive!

After I had finished my cake, I snuck into the back room for a little alone time. There was window near the back wall and from it you could see the whole city. All the beautiful lights and bustling going on below. It was truly magical.

That was the night I fell in love with Briocheport.

    My favorite part was the family visits of course!

    I was so confused when they visited Forrest & Rose, I had thought that Forrest was still a young adult, he and Sage just looked so similar xP Minus the skintone of course!

  19. Gahhhhh, even OLIVINE got Bierberry fever??!?!! Nooooooooo!!! I can see it now, her belting away to Jammy’s latest hit, singing “…and I was like Berry, Berry, Berry ohhhhhh!!!!” LMAO

    Not much of a JB fan, but I might warm up to Jammy if he sticks around and serenades Olivine…when he’s of legal age of course (he’s still just a baby….pun SO intended. :P)

  20. I love how Part 1 was all about bringing the family back together and seeing everyone one last time before Papple hands the reigns off to Olivine. What a great way to leave for the city! And JB, Candy you are a genius for putting that idea in Berry’s head! It was so perfect. I can see her being drawn to the big city after that party!

    Upset that Emerald didn’t win, -sadfaaaaaaace- but Olivine’s gorgeous too…
    Though I do have to admit she just lost lots of points in my book for being a Jammy Bierberry fan. -shudder-
    Pleaaaaaaaaaaaase post the next chapter sooooooooooooon. xD NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED. Also can’t wait to see how things go for Symph and Rebel. ^^

  43. lol Jammy Bierberry doesn’t happen to be Justin Bieber does he? I love Olivine! I’m sooo excited to hear her story! I’m just hoping Jammy has a better personality…and voice (if Olivine and Jammy are supposed to be together, that is)

      • I would wait for a year for an update from Berry. She churns them out faster than most of us and still manages to make them perfect. Berry Pie you take all the time in the world and we will be here waiting happily and quietly for you

      • I would completely disagree HappyLovePeace. Sorry to be contrary but Berry works herself to death to get us these updates and the last two have come out in record time (she got two out faster than I could even get one done O_O). I’m afraid I am one of the everyone you don’t speak for.

      • What a ridiculous notion; I would rather have quality over quantity any day. As a legacy writer, myself, as many others here are, as well, I can fully appreciate the amount of time that Berry puts into each and every one of her chapters to make them the amazing products, both from a writing perspective as well as a photography perspective, that they are. Even with the perfection that she produces, she still gets her chapters out more quickly than the majority of quality legacy writers in the community. Consider also that legacy writers, including Berry, have lives outside the game world as well that they are responsible for, and sometimes real life gets in the way of writing more chapters for us. This is just her hobby; she’s doing it because she enjoys it, not because she has to. When a hobby becomes a job and adds stress to your life instead of reducing it, it ceases being enjoyable, and if Berry lost her love for the Chiffons, we would all miss out on the wonderful stories she has to tell.~

        Basically, as Thea said, I would wait a year for an update from Berry if I had to, as I’m sure many of her other readers would as well. You can’t rush something like this. Respect her as a writer and be thankful for and enjoy the material she’s already given to you.

I imagine your so-called “everyone” consists of your neighbor, her cat and your highly yet surprisingly anonymous self. I suspect you are either jealous, bored or a troll. go hurry off and juggle stones at someone else’s wall, ’cause sadly, this one ain’t coming down without a fight in which you will be up against the ones you hold so dearly; EVERYONE! 😉

  51. Okay, I guess this is technically my first comment (although I did ask a question over in downloads), so I’m going to start by saying I love your legacy. Ever since I found it in September it has become an addiction of mine. I had to create a second user account on my laptop and use parental controls to block your site so I can do homework. Secondly, I know this is way late, but I actually stopped reading to figure out who “Jammy” was (I knew it had to be someone famous), and though I’m NOT a Bieber fan, I’ll give the guy this: he’s a better singer than Mitchell Musso, and the song Baby is growing on me.
    Third, reading your legacy really makes me want to do one of my own, but I never keep track of where all my CC is from so I’d feel awkward using pics of it and not crediting… Although I have been sharing something legacy-like (does not follow the “rules” in any way, shape, or form, but I call it a legacy anyway) via email with one of my friends and she seems to like it, I just don’t feel comfortable going public with it because of the whole “CC” thing… But I’m getting off track with that.
    Finally, I’m just going to ask again what I asked in the downloads: where did you get Honey’s/Apricot’s heart locket?

  52. Lol okay so I just had to comment on all of the comments lol. First off Berry awesome POV. Can’t wait for more!!!! 🙂 But now on to the comments lol. When I read the chapter I had no idea who Jammy was suppose to be until I read the comments following lol. Maybe I’m just to old idk lol but I didnt even know what the kid looks or sounds like all I know is he is a singer lol. Oh and until I saw your jammy I had always thought justin was a teenager. So anyway guess I sort of dated myself just then lol. And again can’t wait till the next chapter keep up the great writing 🙂
